Allow yourself to experience fully what is in front of you, without sentimentality or association. Without thinking it would be improved if only ___ was different. Without thinking ___ is better than what presents now.

Let a situation, condition, or person be exactly what it is, welcome it exactly as it is. Give and receive fully of yourself with care and intention, but without overthought or strain. In this way you will participate as God intended.

Harmony

Allow yourself and life to be fluid, changeable. If the slightest resistance arises internally, melt into the resistance. Act from a place of softness, love, generosity. When resistance arises in the external world, allow it to be exactly as it is and know another path will soon arise that is better aligned with your own approach.

Transformed

This human body with its human mind is prone to some degree of animal thoughts, which cling to ideas of individuality and separation. Some say this never leaves; they are wrong. As we become accustomed to greater levels and amounts of Light, concepts of separation quiet. Over time, inspired thinking becomes prominent, steady. We begin to live from a space of lightness never before imagined.

Our resting place becomes the open heart and infinite unknowing. We are delighted by daily surprises. Here, possibility and steadiness support each ever-lighter step we take.

We can be utterly transformed.

If only

If only we knew what it means and feels like to rest in God. How happy, sweet, and peace-filled our lives and the entire world would be!

On the thoughts you don't let yourself think

Turning away from a thought allows it to continue living its small life in secret. It is alive for a reason, and it arises for a reason. When the time is right, give it the attention it asks for. Sink into the emotions it carries.

But do not identify with the thoughts or emotions. Compassionately allow them to exist without holding on. This allows them to begin dissolving, that a new layer of Self may emerge.

Power of the word

Even the most beautiful words - thought, spoken, or read - remain meaningless unless infused with consciousness.

The power of the word comes from its ability to communicate consciousness. Allow consciousness to deepen and what is conveyed also deepens, until silence itself speaks more loudly than a single word ever could.

Consciousness is not the intellect, but the kaleidoscope lens by which we move through life.

Reinterpret

Any emotion we experience as negative is actually a positive consciousness clouded by the idea of separation, a misunderstanding of the truth.

Sadness = love + perspective of separation

Fear = peace + perspective of separation

Anger = acceptance + perspective of separation

Loneliness = unity + perspective of separation

Desire = having + perspective of separation

Striving = being + perspective of separation

Hatred = sameness + perspective of separation

Discord = harmony + perspective of separation

How to Choose

  1. Allow the light to remove emotional attachments and rationalizations from all options.

  2. Allow the light to remove attachments and rationalization from all possible intentions.

  3. In meditation, ask to be shown the highest intention.

  4. Open yourself to accept this intention. Allow it to be established deep within.

  5. Ask to be shown the most inspired choice based on this intention.

  6. Open to accept this choice without adding emotional or intellectual reasoning.

  7. Let the light shine on this option and watch/feel whether it dissolves, alters, or remains unchanged.

  8. Act on what you are shown.

  9. Discover what arises from this choice.

Wait. Silence.

May action come from a place of fullness and inspiration, not desperation.

The building restlessness, the discomfort, the needing to move, stop, run, go here or there, to simply do something other than what you are doing. The desperate seeking of God in books, people, or groups, this practice or that. The thoughts that will not stop, the wondering, analyzing, trying to “figure out.” The urgency to shed things, to change your surroundings. The conviction that what is cannot be what is best.

All these keep you focused on the physical, on matters outside yourself and outside now.

Sit — unmoving through the seeming necessity to change something (everything).

Sit — through the perceived need to say something you haven’t already said that might “fix” what is not broken.

Sit — through the need to pull or push.

All these are distractions.

Watch: light(ness) deepens.

Wait.

Silence.

Ezekiel 36:26

New International Version
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
New Living Translation
And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.

If you give it to me, I will take your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

If you release, I will take your walled mind and give you a mind of openness and expansion.

If you have finished with it, I will take your weighty body and give you one lighter than air.

Because you seek it, I give your spirit all it needs to soar without limits.

Ritual and symbols

Rituals and symbols can help us connect with God, but only if they bring the attention toward God, then fade or deepen that God may emerge. If they hold the attention in the physical or astral realm, they are no more than distractions. Performing ritual or using symbols for any reason other than wordless inner drive toward Being is empty of meaning.

Receiving

I open to receive. I invite the unknown, trusting fully in its perfection. I stand at the ready, to glean the fullness of this gift I am about to be given. Knowing that any expectations or hopes of its appearance will only limit my ability to receive.
