There is nothing you must do, no one you must be except yourself.

It may surprise you to discover what this really means.

Only through surrender - while continuing to engage - can we allow true power to flow through us.

What more can one ask for than to allow compassionate presence to flow from every cell of our being out into the world, in every way possible?

The truth is always better than you first imagine, but in order to see Truth you must first allow the possibility that it includes your fears.

All thoughts, words, and actions come down to intention. May your intentions be divinely inspired and pure. May they be set clearly and from deep within. May they guide you home to God.

The plant unfurls its leaves when it is ready. It does not prefer to remain a seedling, or rush to flower fully. It allows all phases to arrive at their own time.

The key to living well is to be fully in the present moment, feeling deeply and with abandon. Welcoming all feelings and forms as they rise, mature, and fade.

Freedom arises in layers

Regardless of how attachment appears, it reflects a failure to recognize the perfection of what presents now, here, and within yourself. The cause of an attachment is irrelevant. The fact remains we have lost sight of the perfection of here and now.

Remain still until desire releases and neutrality returns. Notice the subtle pulls as they arise; let them do their thing without reacting to them. Freedom arises in layers.

True detachment is a neutrality, but within neutrality is an openness to feel deeply.

Moving from this space, effort can be exerted without strain, as work is done through stillness. Relationships become fluid and light, as their true essence is allowed to reveal.

Home

Find your Home within. When you have found it, root yourself here. Let this become the space from which all aspects of life are lived.

  1. This is a felt experience, not an intellectual endeavor.

  2. It is the lightest, safest feeling anyone can know, but for this very reason may at first feel foreign, unprotected, or unrecognizably light/absent.

  3. It is unchanging, essence.

  4. It is more alluring than anything found outside of you. If you become bored or feel more drawn to something in the outer world, dig deeper and lighter within.

  5. It is open-hearted and so rooted in the present moment that, when living from here, no grasping, rushing, pushing, or seeking can occur.

  6. Do not confuse your recognition of inner Home with the person or event that triggered that recognition.

  7. To live from this space is to become fully alive.

What requires the greatest courage?

Holding the heart open in the present moment. Giving without limit, receiving without expectation. Welcoming without grasping.

Releasing when the time comes; gratitude deepens by knowing impermanence. Choosing yes, whatever may come of this greatest dare.

to break desire, see a thing as it is, rather than what you want it to be.
to expand gratitude, focus on what is, not on what is lacking.
